Hi, I’m Kate – Senior Registered Yoga Teacher with 12 years teaching experience, 3 decades of running stories, an invisible medal for beating debilitating adrenal fatigue at 29, and an exciteable & sharing soul!

From London and now Manchester, I have taught yoga to complete beginners, for big fancy brands, daring corporates, to lapsed returners, average people, and amatuer and professional athletes. 

I host 5 group classes a week in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. 

I teach private sessions to people looking to establish their own practise, for people with injuries, medical conditions or stacked schedules!

I specialise in yoga for sportspeople and athletes via private tuition.

Yoga For Amateur & Professional Athletes

I am a specialist in yoga for sport and athletes. I am passionate about yoga’s unique ability to complement a rigorous active routine. 

Working closely with sports physiotherapists, we focus on enhancing stability, flexibility and range of motion. Incorporating breathwork and relaxation techniques helps highly active individuals reduce tension and improve sleep, leading to better overall performance.

Adding yoga to a training routine will add performance and strength-enhancing support, and can be a key assist in injury rehabilitation.

If you are a sports person or team, please contact me for a free trial session (within 90-minute drive of Cheadle Hulme). I would love to show you how yoga can complement your already incredible regime!

Private Yoga Tuition

A yoga practise at it’s most tailored & closest to home!

Private yoga tuition is bespoke to your needs and goals – each sequence is written specifically for you – and you don’t even have to leave home (/garden/office).

I teach 1:1 and 1:2 yoga to beginners seeking familiarity prior to starting group classes, advanced clients wishing to push their practise further or progress to a peak pose, during pregnancy (14-42 weeks), or, to people managing medical conditions and injuries.

Medical consultation included in first session.
Sessions are deeply routed in anatomical knowledge to ensure you progress safely while having fun.

Available ONLINE or IN-PERSON
(assumes 15-minute drive of Cheadle Hulme)

Yoga Class For Men

A dedicated space for men to do yoga, no frills, no pretence, just all the goodness!

For men (and those identifying as men) to join a small, learner-style class and discover the benefits of yoga.

Welcomes tight limbs, beginners and old sporting-injured-knees. Tell me your injuries and ailments and we will still create a satisfying practise. I specialise in yoga for sport and athletes so bring anatomical, rehabilitative knowledge.

Yoga For Athletes

Yoga to complement and boost your dominant sport and muscles! If you run, cycle or work-out, if you swim, play racket sports and/or you’re a team player or a triathlete – this yoga class is aimed at you!

Expect an anatomical, functional approach to stretching, stabilising and restoring over-used muscles. Yoga will boost blood flow to muscles, ligaments, tendons and organs. Yoga will release over-used muscles, relieve tension mentally and phyiscally, and it will balance ‘up up up’ nervous systems to promote restorative sleep. So you can feel, perform and recover better.

I specialise in yoga for sport and athletes.

Yoga Flow & Fundamentals

An energising, uplifting asana class, expertly sequenced to provide familiarity but variety, safety but challenge – perfect for beginners and learners whilst adaptable for more advanced.

Expect vinyasa flow yoga with pranayama and relaxation. This class focuses on yoga fundamentals and introduces the brilliant basics in a knowledgable and relatable way.

If you’re unable to commit to the weekly class, or, you’re joining in the middle of a bundle, please don’t be put off! Please join us via a Single Class booking for all the joy and none of the committment!

WORKSHOPS

Festive Flow & Slow

Sunday 8-Dec
4 – 6pm

A dynamic, freeing flow followed by a slow, restorative sequence, using bolsters to deepen, release & fully relax.

Expect fairy lights & festive cheer, a herbal tea & homemade goodies.
