Cold Water Therapy
More than cold water immersion
Cold Water Therapy is an invitation to meet yourself in a new way, using the experience as a way to learn, to notice, and to reconnect with yourself.
Through empathetic, trauma-aware guidance, you’ll explore how your body and mind naturally respond to challenge and stress. This teaches you about your needs, your desires, your ambitions and your relationship with yourself.
Cold Water Therapy helps reveal deep patterns: what we long for, what we fear, what we have forgotten. It becomes a way to practise staying connected to yourself, even when life feels overwhelming.
Each session is one-to-one and deeply supportive.
We use techniques to help you feel grounded, curious, and safe.
You don’t have to be strong.
You don’t have to be fearless.
You just have to bring yourself — exactly as you are.
Cold Water Therapy is available as a standalone service or combined with Yoga and Coaching as part of my Elevated, Coaching programme.
The Elevated Experience
Cold Water Therapy isn’t about pushing, toughing it out or “powering through.” It is slowing down to listen — really listen — to what your body and mind are telling you.
With Cold Water Therapy, you’ll learn to notice how your system responds — physically, emotionally, mentally — without judging it. We use grounding breathing to reassure your central nervous system (no good learning is done in survival mode). This is about meeting yourself honestly, gently, and with real curiosity — using the cold as a way in.
It’s not about staying in for a long time.
We go at your pace. When you’re ready, we approach the water together.
I will keep you safe. Heed my instruction and I’ll be beside you as you discover a resilience, confidence, strength you didn’t know you had.
Sometimes what emerges is surprising, sometimes it’s something you’ve known all along. Meet yourself with honesty, kindness, and curiosity.
Meet yourself in the cold.

How a session works
Every session is tailored to you. But here’s what you can expect:
1. Arrival and Grounding
We start with breathwork, movement, or grounding techniques to help you connect to yourself and the environment.
2. Preparing for the Water
We’ll talk through what to expect, listen to what your body is telling you, and set a pace that feels right.
3. Entering the Water
You’ll be guided gently, staying connected to your breath and your body.
There’s no pressure to stay in longer than feels good for you.
4. Aftercare and Reflection
We’ll warm up safely, reflect on what came up for you, and explore simple tools you can use beyond the water — in life, work, relationships, and challenges.

FAQs
Is it safe??
Yes — sessions are trauma-aware, paced to suit you, and always in safe, suitable locations.
I have taken extensive training, including basic life support and CPR, alongside an anatomically-detailed, nervous-system informed curriculum, to bring this to you with safety, science and support.
We’ll check for health considerations beforehand with a detailed health questionnsire, to ensure this is suitable for you. Utlimately, your health is your responsibilty, but I have everything available out in the Cold Water world to support you as safely as possible.
What if it's raining?
We still go ahead — often, colder days make for the most powerful sessions!
Of course, if conditions ever became unsafe (e.g., severe storms), we would reschedule.
Do I need to be able to swim?
No. These sessions are in a static plunge pool.
You can stand easily ~ your feet must remain on the ground.
How long do I stay in the water?
Most people spend between 2–3 minutes in the water.
But there’s no set time you have to reach.
We focus on quality over quantity — listening to your body and stepping out when it feels right for you.
How cold is the water?
We work with water that’s around 10–15 degrees Celsius — cold enough to feel the benefits, but not dangerously extreme.
It’s about connection, not endurance.
What if I feel overwhelmed?
That’s totally natural.
We take it slowly, with lots of support.
You’ll be guided to stay connected to your breath and your body, and you’re always in control.
There’s no “pushing through” — only gentle exploration.
What do I need to bring?
• Swimwear or clothes you’re happy to get wet
• A towel and warm layers for afterwards
• Water shoes or old trainers if you have them (optional but helpful!)
• An open mind and a sense of curiosity
Can I combine this with Yoga & Coaching?
Absolutely!
Combining Cold Water Therapy with Yoga or Coaching is my signature offering ~ the trio is powerful and transformative.
You can add a Yoga session or coaching conversation alongside this work.
